Grade 2 titanium is the most common and widest used titanium in industry as it is with high strength, good corrosion resistance and ductility. What's more, it is very easy to machine and bend. It's the best choice for many industrial applications not only because of it's property, but also it's economical price. As the gr2 titanium plates are always used to produce large containers, most clients are care about what kind of material can be used to weld grade 2 titanium sheets? Usually it is better use the grade 2 titanium filler to weld grade titanium plates. And a variety of welding procedures can be using, such as gas tungsten arc welding, argon arc welding, plasma arc welding, etc.
Grade 2 titanium plates are not as hard as stainless steel. If you'd like to machine gr2 titanium sheets, you'd better use lower speed and make sure the cutting tools are sharp.
