Grade 1 Titanium Plate

Grade 1 titanium is the high purity commercial pure titanium.  Etermetal supply Gr1 titanium plates meet requirements of specification of ASTM B265/ ASME SB265  / ASTM F67. Gr1 titanium is light. It's just slightly weight than Al, but much stronger. It is much ligher than steel, but almost the same strong. It is bio-compatible and have good ductility. High purity titanium also have good corrosion resistance in seawater and other corrosive liquids. Due to its good property, it is an ideal material and widely used in deep drawing, seawater desalination, anodizing, waste water treatment, chemical processing, medical implant, and other corrosive environments.

Grade 1 titanium plates can be made by hot rolling and cold rolling. Hot rolling usually used to produce thicker plates, while cold rolling used to produce thinner plates. Thicker plates usually used for industrial and the surface would be pickled or sandblasted.  Thinner plates' surface is smoother and bright due to the produce technique.

• Cut to size service 

Etermetal also have cut-to-size service. Titanium plates can be cut into smaller sizes according to clients' request. The cutting service including: linear cutting, laser cutting, water cutting, shear cutting. The tolerance of plates' size will be different by different cutting machine.  We will cut the titanium sheets according to buyers' request according to order. 

The following images are titanium plates Etermetal supplied to buyers according to buyers requirements, some of them were cut by laseing cutting ( round holes and round edge), some of them were cut by water jet cutting ( thick plates with round hole, and cut to size), some of them were cut and drill holes and used other equipments deal with the surfaces. 

• Weld service 

Sometimes, customers also need to weld the cut-to-size titanium plates/sheets , but lack of experience. Etermetal can also help clients weld the plates into their expected shapes according to their drawings or request sizes. Welding report will be supplied to buyers. 

• Surface -finish service 

Some of the parts have surface roughness requirements according to their application. Etermetal is able to provide surface polish service too. The surface can be mirror polish , metal brushed. Other surface finish such as PVD coating , anodising is available too ( color: rainbow, burnt blue, golden, black, green, red, pink, purple, grey, etc.). 

 Dimensional inspection

Gr1 titanium sheets and plates inspection include : surface inspection, visual inspection, Ultrasonic test, dimensional test, DPI test, chemical composition test, physical properties test, bend test, etc. according to specifications.  Only qualified products are packed and ship to buyers.
