Grade 11 Titanium Plates

The Basic Information

From the chemical composition you will find that Grade 11 titanium plates are have same C,N,H,O,Fe chemical composition with grade 1 ones, the difference is grade 11 titanium added 0.12-0.25% Palladium. So people always call grade 11 titanium as unalloyed titanium and Grade 11 titanium sheets have similar physical properties with grade 1 titanium plates. They are have similar ductility and cold formability with grade 1 ones too. But as there is palladium added, Gr11 titanium plates’ corrosion resistance is much better than grade 1 ones.

The application of Gr11 titanium plates are similar with grade 7 ones. They are mostly used in crevices and acid chloride environments.

Grade 11 titanium plates have excellent weldability. You can either weld them to bar, flange, disc, rings, nuts with grade 11 filler rod by arc welding or tig welding.  But it is important to prevent oxygen during welding.

 If you’d like to cut grade 11 titanium sheets into smaller pieces, you can let us know the exact size of the pieces you’d like and tolerance on size. We can cut them in our mill by laser jet cutting, water cutting, linear cutting or shearing.

The surface of the grade 11 titanium sheets is descaled. It’s flat and clean, free of oil, cracks. The color looks like silvery gray. It is the original natural titanium metal color.

• Palladium: 0.12-0.25%

2. the boxes will be packed and banded with steel belts. Sometimes, angle steel and rectangular steel pipes will be also used to make the box stronger.
