Grade 7 Titanium Plates

Titanium is a new type of metal, the performance of titanium is related to the content of carbon, nitrogen, hydrogen, oxygen and other impurities, pure titanium iodide impurity content does not exceed 0.1%, but its strength is low, high plasticity. The performance of 99.5% industrial pure titanium is: density = 4.5 g/cm3, melting point of 1800℃, thermal conductivity = 15.24W/(m.K), tensile strength b=539MPa, elongation =25%, section shrinkage =25%, elastic modulus E=1.078105MPa, hardness HB195.

Grade 7 titanium plates, also call as grade 7 titanium -Palladium plates. They are corrosion resistant alpha unalloyed titanium. Grade 7 titanium has added 0.12% - 0.25% palladium in it  which improve the metal's corrosion resistance in mineral acids and strong brine. Due to this outstanding advantage, grade 7 titanium sheets are welcomed and popular in the chemical industries, such as reactor autoclaves, pipe and fittings, valves, condensers, fans,etc.

• Carton: 0.08 Max

• Hydrogen: 0.015 Max

• Iron: 0.30 Max

• Oxygen: 0.25 Max

• Palladium: 0.12-0.25%

Surface of grade 7 titanium sheets

Due to the application, grade 7 titanium plates ' surface always descaled. The surface is flat, free of oil and dust. Thicker plates can be sandblasted after descaled. • Cut to size service - we can use our shearing or other cutting machines to cut the grade 7 titanium plates into required sizes according to order.

   

• Cut to shape service - Linear cutting/water cutting machines will be used to cut round , square, oval, or any other shapes according to drawing. 

•  

Bending and welding service - We can help customers bend the titanium plate/titanium sheet into tubing shape and offer welding service. For welding service, we  supply RT test report for quality assurance.
