Grade 2 Titanium Spool Wire

Grade 2 titanium spool wire made from titanium wire in coil and then spooled on the spools.Etermetal supply the titanium spool wire with standard spools according to buyers' request.

The tolerance of grade 2 titanium spool wire depends on its application. When it is used for automatic welding, the tolerance is usually quite small ( +0.01mm -0.03mm/0.04mm according to diameter and meet standard requirements.)   If they are used for  chemical processing or other purpose, the tolerance of the diameter will agreed with purchaser. 

Polished: polished grade 2 titanium wire are quite bright and shinny. It is not usually for chemical processing. Sometimes, it would be used for jewelry making or other purpose. 

Ground / chemical cleaned: ground and chemical cleaned titanium wires usually used for chemical process or anodizing, or anywhere tie down components.

Grade 2 titanium spool wire was made from grade 2 titanium billets -  hot forging - hot rolling - cold drawing - titanium wire in coil - spooled on the spools.  Material in every process will be inspected to make sure of the quality of the titanium wire. During the process， ultrasonic test will be done to the raw material. After grade 2 titanium wire finished,  visual tests and dimensional tests will be done to the wire. Only qualified wires will be spooled.  Samples will be taken from the material and send to authorized labs to test the chemical and physical properties. The mill test certificate (MTC) will be given to buyers before shipping or along with products.
