What is titanium sheet?

 Most of the time, people can not classified plates, sheets and strip. What is called a titanium sheet?  Here comes the answer from standard:  Products 0.187 in. (4.75mm) and under in thickness and 24 in. (610mm ) or more in width are classified as a sheet.  

Etermetal supply Grade 1 titanium sheets from 0.5mm to 4.75mm in thickness and with width less than 2500mm, length less than 6000mm by cold rolling. The surface are descaled and clean, free of dirt, oil, cracks. Thinner plates can even have bright surface and quiet smooth. The grade 1 titanium plates can be offered in two forms, one is flat sheet. The other is in coil.  At present, the Gr1 titanium sheets Etermeal supply can meet ASTM B265, ASME SB265, ASTM F67 requirements and exported to developed countries for more than 10 years.

Grade 1 titanium sheets have high purity, good ductility, excellent formability, weldability and corrosion resistance. Quality Control 

In order to supply stable qualified grade 1 titanium sheets to clients, Etermetal has very strict quality control from raw material to finished products. We choose good titanium sponge from reliable material supplier and retest the chemical in authorized lab before smelting. All the produce processes data are recorded and traceable. Testing samples will be taken from finished products to test the physical properties in national authorized labs. Visual test, dimensional tests will be done in our mill . The Mill Test Certificate will be offered to buyer before shipping.

Packing

All the grade 1 titanium sheets are with standard export packing. They are packed with plastic papers or foam inside, and then put into ply-wooden box. Box will be wined with steel belts outside in order to avoid any damage during long time delivery. When the sheets are large,  angle steels and stronger package will be used too.
