Grade 11 titanium sheets are have same C,N,H,O,Fe chemical composition with grade 1 ones, but added 0.12-0.25% Palladium which made grade 11 titanium plates more corrosive. They are unalloyed titanium sheets and have similar physical properties with grade 1 titanium sheets. The Gr11 titanium sheets' ductility and cold formability are as good as grade 1 titanium sheets.

Grade 11 titanium sheets’ applications are similar with grade 7 ones. They are mostly used in crevices and acid chloride environments. But grade 7 titanium sheets are slightly harder than grade 11 titanium plates, while titanium sheets have better ductility. If hardness is considerate, grade 7 sheets are good choice. While ductility is important for the application, grade 11 titanium plates are suggested.

Gr11 titanium sheets can also be welded. They are usually used to weld into titanium tanks, titanium pipes, and other containers or equipment parts. You can weld the sheets with grade 11 filler rod by arc welding or tig welding, and do remember preventing oxygen during welding.
