Grade 4 Titanium Strip

Grade 4 titanium strip is α titanium alloy strip. It is usually supplied with vacuum annealed condition. It’s hardness is smaller than β and α+β titanium alloy, but the strongest among  α titanium alloys. It can work under the temperature 500-600℃ and have excellent strength. The structure of gr4 titanium strip is stable. And it can be weld by arc welding and other welding techniques. Machining of grade 4 titanium is not hard. The corrosion resistance ability of titanium strip is also excellent as other grade of titanium alloys.  As grade 4 titanium foil is harder, it is not suggest to be punched or stamped at room temperature. when its gap impurity elements (oxygen, hydrogen, nitrogen, etc.) content is very low, it also has good toughness and comprehensive mechanical properties at ultra-low temperature. Grade 4 titanium strip’s tensile strength is slightly higher than industrial pure titanium, which can be used as a structural material.

      Oxygen: 0.40

      Iron: 0.50

      Hydrogen: 0.015

      Titanium: balanced
